Job Summary

We are seeking an Adult Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment services to adults and families. The therapist will conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community support providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations and provide direct clinical treatment to adults and families.
• Assess client needs related to outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, family members, and other service providers.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations..

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Appropriate Michigan state licensure.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with or treating individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Fieldwork and internship experience may count.

Accepted Licenses

Candidates must hold an applicable Michigan license or limited license, such as:

• LLMSW – Limited Licensed Master Social Worker
• LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker
• LLPC – Limited Licensed Professional Counselor
• LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor
• TLLP – Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist
• LLP – Limited Licensed Psychologist

Schedule Details

The program offers flexible scheduling based on operational needs.

• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Some evening and weekend work may be required. The position totals 37.5 hours per week.
