Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Job Skills / RequirementsTemporary, part-time weekend positions with occasional overtime during outages and holidays. Opportunity for conversion to a permanent position in the future.Roles Available:Unarmed Security Officer- Day Shift & Night Shift AvailableSat-Sun (7AM-7PM) & Sat-Sun (7PM-7AM)$14.00-$15.00/Hr.Minimum Qualifications• Must have or obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority• Must be at least 18 years oldDuties & ResponsibilitiesPatrol & Surveillance • Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activityIncident Response & Reporting • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)Customer Service & Policy Enforcement • Assist visitors and employees professionally• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)Required Skills & AbilitiesMinimum • Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments• Weekend availability• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills• Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations• Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reportingPreferred • Familiarity with Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Requirements With or Without Reasonable Accommodation• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stoppingEducation & ExperienceMinimum • High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred • 1+ Year of Verifiable Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience• 2+ years of verifiable customer service experienceAdditional Information / BenefitsThis job reports to the Branch ManagerThis is a Temporary / Seasonal position 1st Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends .Number of Openings for this position: 1
